Samantha serves as CFO of HCTC and has been with the company since 2010, starting off as a staff accountant, then progressing to accounting manager, controller and director of accounting. Prior to joining HCTC, she spent a decade performing audit and attestation services and tax preparation.
Her prior business ownership, public accounting, and corporate career experience allow her to bring a wealth of practical expertise in operations, finance, team building, leadership, hiring, and time management. One of Samantha's entrepreneurial endeavors, along with Hollie Andreas, was to purchase the Kerrville and Boerne franchise rights to Nobilitea, a tea franchise looking to expand across the US and Canada. The Kerrville franchise plays a significant role as one of the top grossing stores.
Samantha has devoted her time as a board member to various local non-profit agencies, including the Kerr County YMCA, Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, Hill Country Charity Ball, and the Friends and Faculty of Ingram Tom Moore High School. Samantha filled the interim role on the Board of Directors for the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce in 2014. She was also a 2007 Leadership Kerr County class member and chaired the 2007 Kerr County Relay for Life.
